The Uffizi Gallery always reveals new treasures. From December 9th six new rooms has been opened at Uffizi Gallery. The new rooms are dedicated to Florentine painting of the seventeenth century. The new rooms so-called “yellow”, due to the yellow ochre panels placed under the most significant works, host paintings by Jacopo Chimenti known as L’Empoli, Giovanni Bilivert, Filippo Napoletano, Justus Suttermans, Francesco Furini, Carlo Dolci and others. The colour yellow ochre has been chosen to remind the splendor of the baroque tapestries. The new six rooms are located at the first floor of the Uffizi Gallery. Don’t miss it!
